History of the Park

Most of the tent sites are on the Islands but there are five on the mainland. All of the park has tall trees both deciduous and coniferous and very little vegetation between the sites. Some sites have grass and others are on a bed of pine needles. Once on the island, the sites are reached by a main pathway so that campers do not have to pass through another's site. Each site has a firepit and picnic table. Washrooms and showers are at the center of the park. Showers are coin-operated.

Our policy is one family per site, this being 2 adults and children under 18. Extra adults on site are charged $7.00 per night with a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children per site. Check out on day of departure is 12:00 p.m.
