Island Camping

Butterfly Animated

Enjoy the privacy of an island campsite in the midst of the beautiful Black River, which flows through this park comprised of 180 acres of wilderness.

Island camping

The park has 4 islands on which you can tent. Three of these islands are accessible by walking bridges and another by a natural stone pathway. All sites are on the outside of the island so everyone has a river site. There is an abundance of tall trees with no underbrush growing between the sites. These large sites are approximately 750 square feet each. You must park at designated parking lots and walk your gear across to your site. Island sites are within a 3 minute walk to the restrooms and water taps. Showers are coin-operated.Each site has a firepit and picnic table. All garbage must be wrapped and brought to the mainland and put into refuse container.

Our rate is for one family per site, this being 2 adults and children under 18. Extra adults on site are charged $7.00 per night with a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children per site. Check out time on departure date is 12:00 p.m.
